Students from Estácio de Sá University learned more about the research done in the CARNiVAL project.
The researchers Dr Leonardo Mataruna and Dr Ian Brittain attended an event with students of Physical Education at Estácio de Sá University in Rio de Janeiro. About 300 students learned more about the research that the researchers are developing through CARNiVAL project at Coventry University, in the UK, in partnership with the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). During this event, they have also discussed the possible legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2016.
The visit to Rio universities are part of the agenda of the researchers who since the beginning of March are in Brazil to develop CARNiVAL project’s researchs. This agenda also includes interviews that will help build a report on the legacy and impact of the Paralympic Games.
