Dr. Leonardo Mataruna and Dr. Renan Petersen-Wagner attended to the International Conference Chair of History of the Modern World, ETH in Zurich, Switzerland. The conference had as theme Sport and Society in Transnational Contexts. The paper produced and presented by Dr. Mataruna and Dr. Petersen-Wagner is “A Return Trip to Japan: From Jigoro Kano Kodokan Judo in Brazil to Gracie Family Brazilian”, a perspective of the sport culture and contemporary transnationalism. The paper received a financial support from Swizz National Science Foundation to be presented and will be publish in the next edition of “Sport in Society Journal: Cultures, Commerce, Media and Politics​​”.
