Professor Leonardo Mataruna meets Legacies For All Brazilian NGO at Coventry Cathedral.

Dr. Leonardo Mataruna, who coordinates the LONRIO project at Coventry University, received this month the visit of the Brazilian NGO Legacies For All.  The organization is committed to investigating the legacies’ mega-events for the Brazilian society.

“The LONRIO is fully interested in the work of NGOs, since it investigates the transfer of the legacy of the London Olympic Games to Rio de Janeiro,” said Dr. Mataruna. The coordinator of the Legacies For All, Alexandre Melo, said the NGO has much interest in research that has been performed at Coventry University and seeks to be a LONRIO’s partner in Brazil.
